Pro Window Tinting is a Calgary window tint shop with two locations, one in the south near Chinook and one in the north at Deerfoot City. We’re a 3M Certified Pro Dealer, and we install 3M film only.
Why we started
We kept seeing the same problem around Calgary. People paid for cheap tint that looked fine for a few months, then turned purple, bubbled or peeled. We decided that if we were going to tint vehicles, we’d only use film that holds up to Alberta sun and Alberta winters. That meant 3M.
What we install
We carry three 3M window films, and every price is listed on our homepage.
- 3M Colour Stable is a carbon film that won’t fade to purple. It’s our lowest-priced film, starting at $299.
- 3M Ceramic IR keeps out a lot more heat than carbon film. It starts at $349.
- 3M Crystalline is 3M’s top film. It keeps out the most heat while staying light, and it starts at $449.
Both shops also install 3M paint protection film, from a partial front end at $499 up to full-vehicle wraps.
How we work
We tell you the exact film and shade going on your vehicle before we start. We clean the glass, cut the film to fit your windows and install it in our shop.
We’re also straight with people about the law. Alberta doesn’t allow any film on the windshield or the front side windows of a vehicle driven on public roads, and we’ll tell you that before you book. For a daily driver, we recommend tinting the rear side windows and the back glass, which can be any darkness. We install front-window film for show and off-road vehicles, vehicles registered outside Alberta, and medical exemption permit holders. Our Alberta tint law guide explains why.
If you’re comparing us with other shops, our brand comparison puts 3M next to the other major film makers using their own spec sheets.
Our two shops
Both shops have the same films and the same prices. Call either one at (403) 891-5980. They’re open Monday to Friday 8 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 2.
